Brač is the biggest island of the Central Dalmatian group of islands, and with its tallest peak – Vidova gora (778 m) it is the highest island in the Adriatic. The biggest populated areas are Supetar and Pučišća. Near the latter there is a stone-pit for excavation of famous stone of Brač.
